Amanda Bryant is a third-year Master of Divinity student at Yale Divinity School. Originally from East Tennessee, Amanda graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2019 with a dual degree in Neuroscience and Religious Studies. Following her undergraduate education, Amanda served as a Teach for America corps member in Nashville, TN. Amanda is a member of the United Methodist Church, and she is interested in the ways in which academic theology might be used to edify the local church. Amanda is participating in the Reimagining Church program because she believes deeply that God is still at work in our local churches, but it is our responsibility to discern where that work takes us in the next iteration of the Church.
