Thistle Farms is a widely recognized model for Christian outreach, a housing first network for women survivors of addiction and sexual violence. Thistle Farms uses economic development as a tool for personal empowerment and relies on faith for changing lives.

The Rev. Tyler Sit, Pastor at New City Church (United Methodist), a dynamic new church start in Minneapolis, where the congregation is wildly reimagining what ministry looks like. He is the author of  “Staying Awake: The Gospel for Changemakers.” A profile of Rev. Sit’s work was published by the Faith and Leadership project at Duke Divinity School. In March 2021, Reimagining Church facilitator Jonathan Lee interviewed Rev. Sit for Yale Divinity School’s Transformational Leadership in a Turbulent Time series.
